Title: Introduction to DNS for ISPs
Prerequisites: Currently running an ISP network and have a good understanding of networking, and basic understanding of DNS.
While this training is free because of sponsorship, there are limited spaces and therefore a vetting process is in place to ensure the candidates meet the requirements and will attend the session.
Limited to two registrations per organisation.
The course will cover building DNS infrastructure for a typical ISP operation, from basic DNS operations to building out anycast systems to scale. This will cover best practices, howtos, explanations of current (and future) technologies, and tips, hints and howtos to ensure that your infrastructure remains current. We'll cover both recursive and authoritative DNS operations.
Please bring a laptop running some *NIX variant.
This class will *NOT* cover basic DNS infratsructure (ie. what are RR types, etc.)
